This is my brother-in-law, Brian Williams posing somewhere inside an Afghan National Police compound. He reports that they've kept him very busy since his arrival. It basically sounds like a simple schedule: missions every single day. No rest on the weekends. Some missions are an hour long, "but the bulk are in the 8 hour range". Wednesday had him passing out rice and beans (apparently enough to last a family for a month or so) to "those who help with information".
Here he is standing on top of the last castle Alexander the Great built. And the last two are some "action shots". The first, rolling through one of several towns; the second, flying over the magestic Himalayas.
