Slow Tuesday, hour 8

Results of the experiment:
(1) to see just how frivolous some of these posts become
Pretty damn frivolous. Hell, that one about my commencement assignment was written literally five minutes before the hour. Top 'o the head sort of stuff, which sorta makes (in my opinion) that the weakest link.

(2) to see if I can actually do it up until they unshackle me from my desk at 5PM
Mission accomplished. Do I get a cookie?

Unstated third goal
Holy hell, a "24 hour blog" would be quite the time commitment. I'm thinking about the wee hours here, folks, when I know that I won't have distractions from the ladies (and cats) that live in my home. I guess if I had some support in the form of instant messaging or something, that could make it a tad bit easier. But even then I'd just be reporting on whatever I was talking about with so-and-so, cut/pasting and whatnot. Bottom line is that I just can't imagine posting once every hour on the hour, there's just no feasible way for me to justify sitting in front of my computer for 24 hours straight. But if there was a purpose or a mission or something, if there was some research I was trying to do where plenty of on-line resources were availble to hyperlink to, then maybe it could work out.
