With any luck, dude, I’ll be just as medicated as you. And hopefully for the next four years ‘cause I’m planning on taking more than a few hits between now and 2008.
(please don’t let it be Hillary/please don’t let it be Hillary/please don’t let it be Hillary)
See, ‘cause there were two possible scenarios that could’ve gone down yesterday. In one case one rich guy would win the electoral vote and probably lose the popular vote, and then we’d get four years of political power plays in D.C. that would keep us quagmired in Iraq and ultimately make the rich guy from Massachusetts look even worse to the 2008 voters who only put him into office last time ‘cause they hated that other rich guy so much. Edwards’ political career would’ve continued unabated even if they were ousted in 2008, which just didn’t seem fair to seeing as how the guy only served North Carolina for a few years.
Instead we get the second scenario. The unexpected “bonus”, to me at least, was now he rules the Congress…and soon he’ll rule the Supreme Court too. This is the second scenario; this is the future of this country.
Time to become an activist.
HAIL ERIS!
