Beforenoon report

I woke up thinking it was Friday. Poured myself some cereal only to open the refridgerator door and find no milk.

I want to congratulate Dorrie on landing that job at Cargo Kids. I think she got a kick out of working at Halloween Express, but it sounds like she'll get a lot more out of the new situation. And ultimately I appreciate her contribution to the Titus/Dutton Collective...even if she's the one who drank all the milk.

Went to a really great meeting last night. I had very few expectations driving over there, but even without any I'd say that it ended up exceeding. I didn't think we'd sit there in Panera, ranting about Bush and exchanging HTML tips all night. It was really great to shake hands with folks like Billy, Tara Sue (from "Google Tara Sue" fame), Jay Ovittore, the Shu, the guy from the Barber Shop, and the Viewfinder Blues player (Bill Hicks fans are usually really interesting people). And it was cool to go with Juan; sometimes I find his energy contagious. Overall I drove away from the aptly named Revolution Mills with a wholly new perspective on the future of Greensboro. Yeah, I know...pretty big stuff to be bouncing around in one's head.
