In the minority

Tom Spurgeon's blog reports that I currently buy two DC:Vertigo titles that didn't break 20,000 in total sales, Lucifer and Hellblazer. As I see it, the funnier thing in this report isn't that I'm a fan of "unpopular" comics. It isn't even terribly funny that more DC titles don't break 20,000 sales than Marvel. What's funny to me is that if I had $100 extra each month to add to my comic book budget, I would undoubtedly be picking up a lot more of those DC titles! 100 Bullets, Human Target, Terra Obscura...hell, if I had that much extra cash I'd probably pick up Swamp Thing again. Meanwhile, there ain't one low-selling Marvel title that I'd be willing to support. Not a one. Does this say more about me, or about Marvel's offerings?
