November Goes

That title's for you, Rob. In fact, if you're actually reading this right now, please email me or comment here (to share the wealth) and give me the name of the band that played that funkedified shoegazing ditty "November Comes" on one of those educational mixes you made me roughly a decade ago. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure if "November Comes" is the name of the song. But that's how the chorus went. It went like: Here comes November and she's burning up the sky/Here comes November and she's burning up the sky...yadda-yadda. (Trust me, folks, you best be glad this is a written/typed medium 'cause you certainly don't want to hear me try to sing that one.) Believe me, Rob, I've tried Googling, Yahooing, and Kazaaing that song title for some time now...to no avail. So if you're within in the view of these words, hit me up!

A'ighty then, looks like its been a little more than a while since I last posted. Most of that's due to two different reasons that can summed up nicely in just one sentence: The work at work has picked up, just in time for the holidays. Anyway, I logged in to start up a post that would recap the pleasant Thanksgiving weekend I'm coming off of but then caught myself recapping things from earlier November weekends. So with it being one more day before we're starting up the last month of 2004, I thought I'd hit some highlights:

Annie made two turkeys: One for the Dutton/Titus collective and one for Phra Achan Dhammarato.

Wow. Paul Bearer really lost some weight, huh?

Six Feet Under, Season One.

CWF's "Ultimate Survivor".

Finishing classwork; beginning slack. (Like catching up on all six issues of Identity Crisis yesterday.)

The Greensboro Weblogger Meetup Group.

That's all I got at present. How about if you share in the November wealth with a comment of your own?

Yeah, I think the three of us all had a really nice holiday. Thanks for asking, Stutts!

"Ultimate Survivor", to me, was an exceptional show because in every single-bingle match the workers supplied the energy. I've been going to those shows for some time now. I've seen the crowd feed the wrestlers; I've seen the crowd do the exact opposite. But that night was a stand-out because the wrestlers consistently brought the goods and almost demanded we get excited and pay attention. I can only imagine, but I bet the back was abuzz with "How am I gonna top that?" And even though you didn't get your head shaved, Stutts, it was still a truly memorable CWF show.
