This makes me scoff. Who is speaking for your daughter now, Dick? Who is politicizing this issue now? You thanked Edwards for his complimentary tone during your debate, but when Kerry drops her name...oh, now you have something to be "angry" about? Please. You should've just followed your daughter's lead and had a "no comment" for questions regarding Kerry's comments at the last debate.
"This is not a good man," Lynne Cheney said at a postdebate party, adding thatRight. And pulling quotes out of context in an attempt to mislead people (ie. Bush/Dick's reinterpretation of "global test") and deliberately telling lies in an attempt to discredit character ("The first time I met you was walking out on this stage" sound familiar, Lynne?) are shining examples of respectable discourse. Get a clue.
Kerry's remark was "a cheap and tawdry political trick."
In semi-related news, on the drive in to work this morning I couldn't help but notice all the Kerry/Edwards signs had been removed from North Mendenhall Street. Funny thing...all the Bush/Cheney signs were untouched. You need look no further, America! This is gutless, immature response we should come to expect from so-called democracy-loving, liberty-spreading Republicans.
