Fashionably late

Yeah yeah yeah...I finally made it out! What can I say, I've been kinda/sorta busy acclimating myself to this whole blogger.com service. The unsolved dilemma that's kept me from hammering out this debut post is trying to find out how to post pics and links and whatnot on the right and left sides. They look so sparse, so empty. They need decorations. So piss off, Al! I'm here now and that's all that matters.

So for those who don't know (and quite a few probably never knew, hahaha!), Livejournal just wasn't working out for me. I think I like this set up a lot more, things just seem easier to do. Maybe if I delved into Livejournal a bit more I could've learned how to make the kind of blogger-esque links I always wanted to make there, but I simply wasn't willing to do the reading. I think I signed up in June and only posted three times. Hopefully this'll work out better.

Anywhy, thanks for checking out the blog! Me and Al will try to keep you entertained. If not entertained or informed, then at least distracted. Redman probably won't have a problem posting here often as he's not as preoccupied about posting "something-that-matters". I get that every time I sit and look at a blank screen. Who really wants to hear what I have to say about anything? Al's trying to get me to think about this whole thing as a half-hour television show on some public access cable station. Somehow an audience stumbled on to the transmission, so while they're here we shouldn't be rude hosts.

I'm Rick. I work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; I help folks transfer in. I read more comic books than novels and the more drinks I've had the better pool I shoot. I like indy wrestling, live music, and a test I recently took said I'd be good at skiing. In four days I'll have been married to the best part of my mornings and evenings for three years. We got an apartment in Greensboro with cat-fur balls on the stairs and behind furniture. I'm not a doctor like the title suggests...but Dr. Titus has a nice ring to it, huh?
